Artineris originates from the experience of Rome Art Week and develops through independent but interconnected initiatives, united by the aim of creating connections, promoting contemporary artistic research and making the relationship between the public, artists, curators and exhibition spaces more accessible.
Each project maintains its own identity, its own geographical focus and a specific participation model, contributing to the development of an open, widespread and constantly evolving cultural network.
Rome Art Week
Rome Art Week is a citywide contemporary art week taking place across Rome. Created to encourage direct interaction between the public and art professionals, it involves artists, curators and exhibition spaces through exhibitions, events, open studios, guided tours and cultural projects.
It is the project from which Artineris has evolved: an initiative developed over time as a tool for mapping, promoting and connecting the contemporary art scene.
RAW for Peace
RAW for Peace is a special day created within the Rome Art Week experience. It invites artists, curators, galleries and cultural professionals to organise citywide initiatives dedicated to peace, dialogue and participation.
The project expands the language of contemporary art by embracing poetry, literature, music and theatrical performance, transforming the city into a shared space for expression and exchange.
Budapest Artineris
Budapest Artineris is the first international development of the project. Initially conceived under the name Budapest Art Week, it adopted its new identity to reflect more accurately an initiative that goes beyond the traditional model of an art week.
The project aims to promote Budapest’s contemporary art scene by creating a stable network of artists, curators and exhibition spaces and by encouraging new opportunities for visibility, collaboration and engagement with the public.
